how fast is a blaster? will modify, one in my area for sale.

subject sums it up there is a 2002 blaster in my area with a FMF exhaust system for sale I am thinking of buying. How fast are blasters stock? would the exhaust add much? is 1750.00 a good price.
I am willing to modify the engine just not internally. I would be willing to get manifold and reeds, new carb and or jet kit. k&n filter modified airbox. and I am willing and capable of swapping the cam. new sprockets. basically anything I can get for under 300.00 im pretty much game.
This seems to be a good buy, I'm going between this and a kawi tecate I know the tecate will be faster but they arn't exactly reliable.
I know these seem to be beginer questions but I always had stock three wheelers and am thinking of trying a modifed quad. If I could get a 65-70mph staright line top end I would be satisfied as most of my riding would be trail riding and theres plenty of tree's around here.
all and any help is appreciated

Blaster's top speed is about 56-60mph. The pipe will add acceleration and throttle responce more then it will speed.

I would go for it dude. Blasters are great for tight tree-lined trail riding and even better with an FMF pipe. sounds like a good and fair price.
Also...i know Shav0 will prolly answer soon but i think he got his port work done from Hollywood Dirt. i hear their the best. forgive me if im givin out falso info bout yr quad Shav0 but i think thats right.

Blasters have alot of potential and a huge amount of after market parts availible. The best bang for the buck is haveing it ported and using a pipe, and intake to compliment the porting.
