A freind of mine just got a 2001 (yellow) 400EX today and is going to put a hydrolic clutch on it within a month. I have a Billitanium on my XR400 engine, but he is thinking about getting a Magura.

Does anybody have any experience with a Magura hydrolic clutch on a 400EX?

 

How much do the Magura's go for?

 

And who sells the Magura clutch. I have never heard of them. I had talked with Billetanium & their's is a little pricey. Thanks!!

 

ATV Action just did a test of the magura and it was $230

 

I'm pretty sure you could get both of them through your WhiteBrothers or Parts Unlimited dealer. Retail on the Billitanium is $399, you might talk your dealer down a little off that. The Billitanium line and actuator are far superior quality than the Magura.

 

I don't have experiance with one on a 400ex, but rather a YZ 125. My boss at the shop I work at put it on his bike and it works great, easy to install, easy to understand, and unbelievable to pull.
