Default Lectron 46HV ride review

Im going to make this as non biased as possible. Only problem being that the carb more than exceded my expectations. Myself and Joshie just returned from a 3 day Pismo vacation. This is what I have to say about the carb.....WOW. This time around mods included 22x10x11 8 paddle extreme haulers along with the Lectron 46 and a twist throttle. Heres my 2 cents on the MRHP LECTRON 46HV. Jetting was perfect. Didnt need to use the choke at all. Ran perfectly. Actually this carb made such a big differnce that in second gear I had to lean over the front to keep from flipping over. Impressed would be a understatement. The carb ran flawless the entire weekend. Ok heres the only problem we ran in to. You have to mount the cable nearly perfect. We thought we had the rumored "stichtion" problem only to find out that the cable was not pulling the slide straight up. After correcting the cable problem everything was bueno. I think that this is the perfect carb for a slightly modded DS. Only suggestion would be to include the most desirable way to run ?mount the throttle.

I never had the stickion problem either. I ran two styles of cables, and actually produced a "how to" on the stock cable and the moose thumb throttle. After all was said and done, the premium cable that Eric sends out was better than my stock set up because of the 90* bend at the carb.

That thing rocks in the dunes - NO DOUBT! Remember when I said I had NO control at starts. NOW you know what I mean. I went to a +3 swing arm to make it more controllable. It was a MONSTER!!!!!!

Have fun and don't get caught looking back too much!

LOL...for real Josh...i'll bring it with me each time we head for Dumont. It doesn't take anytime at all to swap out. That way you guys can see for yourself how well the HV does over the TM.
