I just saw the new 2005 YFZ450 pics at YFZ450_2005

 

It isn't all that retro, the white and red are also "retro" if you consider that the first banshee was w/r.

 

Sorry, I think the color scheme is flat out ugly. It doesnt look bad on a banshee and the warrior was ok, but its really not all that appealing on a yfz nor would it be on a raptor for that matter.

 

I think thats an awesome color scheme.

I think all yellow would have been cool (maybe) but yeah that is kinda ugly. Not going to be a fan with most people.

All Yellow with the 2003 blue frames would look awesome. Though then it would probably bring up Suzuki controversy

 

that it's true,the first square shape like banshee red and white
that is retro look with light years ahead performances and sound!

 

Personally, I love it, but not as much on a YFZ as on a shee. My all time favorite paint scheme was black and red for the banshee, which I somehow managed to get a hold of, blue for the rap, and white and red on the yfz.
