IMO means In My Opinion.
sorry I'm no help with Lectrons, no experience there. But if you think its rich at 1700 ft. he will be screwed at Walden. Its 8000 ft. there, and if you ride the mountian trails you'll break 10,000.
When I was at Walden this year, the Hondas and Yamahas I was with suffered big time from rich jetting as they did not have the necesary jets with them unfortunately, I mean it was amazing, the HP loss is extreme at that altitude and every little fine tweek means alot. i was fortunate to have a jetting assortment for my TM45, and all I have to do is drop one main jet size for every 1500 feet I raise and its nearly perfect every time, it only takes 35 seconds to change it. I was doing wheelies everywhere at 10,000 feet while others suffered from severe bog on the bottom end.

IMO, This is why it pays to buy parts from someone that gives great customer service and knows what they are selling... Eric @ HP Research has gone to great lengths to help myself and others on this forum ( Again, This is my opinion and I am in no way trying to start anything........) But my point is, call who you bought the carb from and they should be able to help your buddy out.....
