I was wondering if anyone one knew where to i could buy new plastics for my P700 cheap. Im lookin for ALL new probaly going to get camo or team green, im thinking camo though it wont show the scratches very well. That and right now i probaly have the harshest looking prairie around..lol.. cant keep it clean, friend cracked some front fender plastic and bent the right front part of ym front rack... ughh gotta love friends. O and does anyone also know the cheapest place to get new stock rims i know they arnt great but i atleast need one b/c its really messed up and im surprised it still holding air. Another thing i dont know if this is normal or not but when sitting still i can look upfront and see steam comming from my grill doesnt seem to matter if i go for a short drive goin 25mph or run er' hard.. ive sprayed my radiator everytime i go out or well after a ride and coolant is full. so i dont know what it is. The above is the list of part numbers for the kawi camo plastic for the P700 the prices are from cycleparts.com. I think there are only 7 pieces that are colored and are listed above. I was lazy and made a cart and just did the copy thing and thats why It layed out on the post the way it did but I think you can follow it.

 

cc1999 thanks for the info, now ihave a question is that just the plastics or does that include the mounting screws? just wondering so when i take my old plastic off whether i should save them or not.. thanks again.

 

Keep your eye on ebay, there is a guy who sells complete camo plastics for $350.

 

I just ordered new red plastic from cycleparts.com. I myself was missing several screws, nuts and washers, wich are sold separately and have a very long list of part numbers because every nut,washer, and screw has a part number and they are not cheep. I needed about a dozen or so scews, nuts and washers and spent something like 60 or 70 bucks for them some of those screws are listed at 3.50 each and even with the discout pricing they still cost 2 bucks each. There are several different lengthes and shapes of screws used on these. You will need to go to kawi web site and go throught the parts break down and pick out the ones you are missing and get the exact part numbers and go to cycleparts.com and plug in the part numbers. I was very pleased at the way that web site works because you can plug in a list of like 20 part numbers at a time and then hit search and it will give you a list back with all the prices.

I wish that Kawi would sell those screws by the dozen for 3.00 since they fall out all the time, I am trying locktight this time.

ps. some of those new screws I recieved had locktight already on them I gues they are trying to fix problem.

 

CC1999 ,the price for the fenders, was that for each fender ? If so the price would be higher. I checked today and was told for each fender it was about that price.That is from the kawi dealer.

 

Traveler, there are 7 different colored pieces listed in my post above. these are the pices you need to swap to camo plastic, if you need the black pieces that would be extra. The prices and part numbers are all listed above to the 7 different pices including both front and rear fenders. cycleparts.com requires you to provide the part numbers wich you can get from kawi's web page. You can probably figure on adding 20 to 30 bucks frt. but that should about offset sales tax a dealer will likely charge, in addition to list price rather than a discounted prices like several internet companies offer.
