New brute force near 10 hrs.

I recieved my BF wednesday evening and have been riding every chance I get. The only problem so far has been one of the rubber wheel caps came off and was lost. Will the dealer give me another or will I have to buy one? This is an awsome quad. It goes great in 2x4 which is usually a weak point on most selective quads. Power is unbelievable and smooth. My question is should I use the Kawasaki products for the first time service or can I get good quality aftermarket fluids instead? Thanks.

My Brute Force has 9 hours on it and after the 1st 3 rides I had lost 3 of the 4 rubber center hub caps! Going to talk to the dealer when it goes in for the 1st maintenence about getting replacement caps. (you would think they could replace these for free after plunking down 7500+ for a machine.......we'll see....

They had better replace them for free. I am going to do the first service my self because I live 45min from the dealer and don't want to leave the BF overnight. I also need to adjust the shifter because the reverse light doesn't come on most of the time and for the neutral light to come on it must be between reverse and neutral. This is a little aggervating since when it is in neutral according to the shifter I have to hold the brake like it is in gear to start. but if I pull it back in between N and R the light comes on and starts without the brake. One other thing is the reverse limiter doesn't kick in so I don't need the over ride button all the time.It only works right when the reverse light is on.

Yes, by all means do your own service if you can. I did mine and I ma NOT the mechanic type!
Plan on removing the skid plates to make the job easier. The oil filter is a pain to get off, but patience will do it. The diff fluids are pretty straightforward and easy to do. Make sure to fill the front diff case slowly or it will seep/run all over the place.
Do th3e air filter cleaning, check a spark plug for proper "burn" and that should take care of it. I also tightened some bolts and basically went through the whole machine. I am ready to go now.
And yes, I lost a damned wheel cap too and hope that my dealer will hook me up...
