yes i am looking in to getting one of the 2 of theses and i was wondering which is better from handeling to aftermarket parts to proformance but the warrior is about 4200 with 2 sets of tires and i THINK it has a aftermarket exhaust which would be a better buy and which is better all around thx alot

 

the warrior is probably faster top end (early 60's) than the 300ex (mid 50's) but the 300ex has better suspension and handling. both are easy to modify. cant go wrong with either.

 

I rode a Warrior for years, and I DO NOT recommend that you get one. They handle big and heavy.

I am 5' 7", and the 300EX is borderline for me. I really need to be on a bigger bike. If you are on the smaller side, the 300 is an excellent machine. It is an especially superb trail bike, because it is medium size. If you are larger, go for a full size machine like the 400EX.

Fun Factor: I'd say the 300EX by a margin due to the handling .. Love my Warrior tho and have a blast on it.

 

ok well im getting the warrior and it has aftermarket tires on it and also it has an FMF exhaust on it thx for the advice or what ever but also im 6' 2"

 

i would highly reccomend against the warrior. my friend and i both had them before and they handle like tanks, you cant wheelie them for crap and my buddies had tons of problems. the chain adjustment in itself is the dumbest piece of engineering i have ever seen on a quad. i have ridden my g/f's brothers 300 ex and it is so much more fun and it is bone stock. both of our warriors had pipes and all that stuff and the 300 is still way more fun.

 

i love them both but i would pick a warior over a 300ex. someone was saying that the chain adjustment was the dumbest engineering on the warrior. have you even looked at a 300ex? what is up with that reverse? the reverse on that thing is the dumbest i have ever seen! when i had mine i tried to find a bank just so i wouldnt have to fool with the reverse on that thing. i also think the warrior looks better. that big red/black/yellow thing going across the handlebars is ugly! looks like it came off of a utility! and one more thing i hate about the 400ex/300ex is the choke. the 400 isnt no where near as bad as the 300. it will take you few times to get used to finding that choke. i have owned both and all and all id say go with warrior anyday. in other words i actually hated my 300ex!!

 

well it looks like u made up your mind but i would go with the 300 ex def a better built bike more monoverable, funner to ride and once u get used to the chocke and reverce it is ok. i love mine and i am 5ft 10 and 175 and i have no problem. i have mods on and i raced a warrior and a 350 rappy yesterday a beat them both badle on straits and thru the track. but i am a little better rider then the guys on the yamaha bikes so not sure how it would have come out and of corce hondas r buletproof.

 

in a drag a warrior will get the 300ex everytime. i used to ride a 300ex and my dad had a warrior and my buddy had a warrior and my girlfreind has a rappy350. and the warrior is built just as good as the 300ex i mean yamaha hasnt had any problems and its been out since 1987-1989 or something like that

 

ok now that you all know i am deff getting the warrior what mods would you reccomend me getting it has and exhause on it and thats all i know about it what else would give my some quick good power boosts for a cheap price
