KOD - on your website, during the Carb Heaterhose Mod, you talked about removing the rubber sheet that covered the vent snorkle to the belt drive.

Did you gain/lose any performance?

That wasnt really a performance mod. It was a mod to reduce operating temps. That along with removing the small side mud guards on each side and doing the carb heater hose removal did help. I cant say if it was a combination of any of the 3 or just one that really helped but never the less the fan does run even less now than before.

These mods and the moroso header wrap are the only two things I ever tried that really worked at reducing the operating temps. I dont think I have the side panel removal pictures up yet. They are still in the cameral. I will try to put them up to show you what Im talking about.

I agree with KOD ,after removing the inner mud flaps the quad runs soo much cooler..little more to clean up after riding but worth it.

Hey guys, I finally got my photos up and showing. I did some changing to the website. Click on My P650 Mods and then click on Operating temps reduction mods to see what I know for sure will work in reducing your operating temps.
