Default Question about White Brother's Pipe for Predator

What is the difference between the Pure Polaris slip on, and the E-Series White Brother's slip on? I know that White Brother's made the Pure Polaris for the Predator. Are they any difference in the Hp, or the performence?

Bradracer18, you have the E-Series don't ya? Have you ever rode with Head027? Are they any difference in the sound? I think i'm going to go with the White Brother's, but I don't know which one yet. I found a Pure Polaris on e-bay for $229.00. Is this the going rate?

Default Question about White Brother's Pipe for Predator

Raj......no I haven't ever rode with head, they have offered for me to, but I haven't got down there yet. They are all really nice guys tho. I have a pure polaris pipe, and it cost 230 new. I don't think there is any difference between the pipes, one is just polaris, and the other seems to be wb.....but both are actually wb. I don't know that for sure though.

I would buy a pipe, drill 4 (or 3) 1" holes in the airbox, get a kandn or uni filter, and send doug your carb...and your pred will turn into a beast.

Default Question about White Brother's Pipe for Predator

I will have Doug do some work for me this spring. I need to get the Pred. frist. This waiting is killing me. I keep checking the Polaris web site to see if it says anything in the news about the 05 Pred. No one know's for sure when it's going to be here. I have heard 2nd week of Sept. and the 1st of Oct.

Hey Bradracer18... After you drill those holes, do you need to cover them with any pre-filter, or is it safe to ride with open holes in the airbox?
Thanks for the info...

depends on where you ride... i had 6 of them with the uni filters in them... it kept water out... but if you only ride in dry areas then keeping them open is fine...

Hozed, you had 6 1" holes??? wow, that must not have left much support, or room......Yeah in water, it probably isn't a good idea, but sand is fine, I know.
