My 04 Rancher AT's neutral indicator light gradually starts to turn on while in drive. After ~ 15 - 30 minutes of riding it is fully lit while the tranny is in drive, as well as when it is neutral. Tranny works fine, but it catches me off guard, making me think it's in 4x4 mode (green indicator as well). I took it to the dealer, but they didn't run it long enough to allow it to occur and gave me the old "nothing seems to be wrong" line. Has anyone else had this problem?

 

take a picture of it doing it while ur riding it, then take it back to dealer and tell them to shove it up their ***

 

I have not had that electrical problem with my 04 AT. I have had the same problem with a dealer though and many other problems with the AT.

 

Little Bill - that's actually a great idea. I can camcord it and take it in. Then, if they still don't buy it, I WILL shove the camera up their ***.

 

have you hade your wheeler in alot of water or used a high pressire pressure washer on it. AKA as water in one of the electrical connectors. Plus why aren't you kicken up a code from the computer causeing a drive ablility problem. Or you could have a bad shift switch in the motor.
