Default 44mm Lectron??

Does anyone run a 44mm Lectron that Mr. HP sells for $350.00. If so, just curious how much better it is than stock. It dyno's at 2 peak hp less than the 46mm. Any 44mm owners out there?

I have one and love it. The set up is easy and the power on the top end is way better than stock. If you do get one make sure that you get a 90 degree bend for the top of the carb as it makes the throttle pull way better.

Anyone have first hand comparison between the 44 and 46HV Lectrons?

Yes I am running the 44mm. I didn't buy it from Mr HP but I did send it to them to set it up and dyno tune it to the CT pipe that I bought from them. 650viper is running the 46 and it runs real good. The difference between the two is about 2-3 hp I think but the power curve is about the same. I have the dyno runs with the 46 and the 44 and the CT pipe. I was impressed with the 46 but I think that I am going the go with the boondocker NOS setup instead of upgrading to the 46.

Can you run the stock thumb throttle with the Lectron 44 or does it require the Moose billet setup like the 46 does?

Does the 44 exhibit the same sticky/stuck shut issues that some are reporting with the 46HV?

Well I have never had the slide reall stick on me but I do keep it clean. When I got my 44 I got a throttle with it but I am sure that you can modify the stock one to work just fine.

I don't have a scanner to scan the dyno runs so there is really no way for me to post them. Sorry. I know that on a stock bike with the CT pipe and the 44 mm with open air box setup it made around 48 hp on the dyno.
