He's going to open your eyes with that quad. Believe it, they're solid quads, highly under-rated. Try it, you'll like it.

Your dad was thinking right!! Like Bluethumb said, it is a highly under-rated quad. This thing will really open your eyes with its capabilities! No offense taken. Everyone has their preferences. But take a look at the new Cats, you will be surprised!

Dads probably thinking, WTF is junior thinking!
Seriously, if dads not too pissed at you, and lets you ride it....youll know what he was thinking. Its an awesome machine, and after you ride it, youre not gonna want to give it back to him.

In my opinon Arctic Cats are the best. I just traded my bullet proof '01 300 4x4, for an '05 500. Your dad made the right choice. I had my 300 in the mud many times and it never got stuck (I'm not trying to start a fight, I'm just stating my personal experience with a 300).

this thing is a tank!!!! the only problem that i see with it is the small engine ....500 cc on a huge tank. i wish he would have gotten the 650 v-twin cuz i like wheelying. how do you think we could juice this thing up, without making it too loud, we want to be able to hunt with this.

its got a dohc though, thats pretty cool.

I'll show him when i smoke him on my modded blaster

a blaster against a 500 4x4 arctic is like comparing apples to oranges the arctic isnt a sport machine and well if you want more low end they do have clutch kits you can put in but remind you that you will lose top end speed and there is piping and k&n airfilters and so on

I'm trying to remember what age I was when my worrying about how fast I could go changed to worrying about how long it would last..... I think it was about the time I had to make that second payment on the new car and then figure how many meals we could eat at each of our parents before the next payday....lol
