the clutching you guys run is AAEN green primary and AAEN blue secondary right?
im gonna have the clip one up from stock, a 240 main, and a 38 pilot jet

Thats close to what I ran in the 400 Sportsman only I didnt have to change the clip or the pilot jet but I did use Boysen power reeds too. This ran great but didnt have the topend as it did stock.

thats weird becuase, even though i didnt get to open it up completely , i got to about 3/4 throttle and it was still pulling pretty hard. I think i have a 34 tooth rear sprocket so my top end is still fine. i might be heading to little sahara this november so we'll see what happens untill then. i'm looking to clutch it next weekend and then next few weeks get it ported or wait until next summer. im also looking at lightening it for the dunes, ive probably got about 20 pounds saved so far with the bumper and exhaust. looking at nerf bars.

With the Boysen reeds they recomend going DOWN on the main jet.I left mine at 240 for cold weather and it was a tad rich in warm weather. But only YOUR plug will tell the truth for you.Just remember better rich than lean.
