YFZ thumb throttle wire??

What the heck is the wire that runs to the thumb throttle for? It looks like it is activated at an idle.

YFZ thumb throttle wire??

TORS - Makes sure the throttle cannot get stuck wide open if there is a problem. You cannot open the slide on the carb without using the throttle. You can tie the wires together to disable.
