I try to not overtighten the cap when I put it on, but it seems to get tighter by the time I go remove it. I had to resort to a big pair of channel pliers, to lossen it this last time.
Anyone else having this happen? Will a grizzly cap, which is a racheting cap, work better? Or am I stuck bringing pliers with on a ride?

 

Funnay that the supposed simplest of things can be come annoying. I experice the same thing. Even after greasing the threads the caps is still lodged on pretty tight. If you find a solution let me know.

 

Still havent gone to the dealer to check on an 05 cap, Ill let you know how it goes.
