Default Mud Lites and pressure?

I have an 04 650 that i just put 26-12-12 & 26-10-12 on and am wondering what kind of tire pressures you guys are using and what kind of riding you do.

These are an awesome looking tire on the type 5 aluminum wheels! It sure changed the way the machine looks and tomorrow i will find out how it runs with them.I also just put in the Dynatek CDI to offset any kind of differences in tire weight.

Anyway if you guys could tell me what kind of riding you do and what kind of tire pressures you use i would grealy appreciate it.

hey cat you are gonna love those tires and that cdi no more limp mode and that thing is gonna handle like a dream with the stiffer sidewalls well i got the 589's from itp same principle 6 ply tires and i think i run around 5 to 6 pounds in mine you don't need to go to much air cause they are such a stiff tire that they hold their shape and i do alot of mud running road driving farming type of work with mine your basic all around workhorse i can check tomorrow to make sure i am kinda leaning towards 5 psi

Thanks for the reply
I wasnt sure where to start with pressure...it says 7 psi on the sidewall but i have 5 psi in them now and will check it out tomorrow to see how it handles and rides.
I do have another question about the CDI.Where i live it is about 1800 feet above sea level.Do you think i may have to rejet after putting in the CDI.It mentioned i may have to to see better performance.Im not sure which jets are in the machine right now.

My brother bought the Brute Force 750 cc Kawasaki and from a dead stop we are pretty close for a short ways and then he starts to walk off and leave me.It seems that once we get our speed up the difference is more noticable.Of course he has 100 cc's more than i do but i would love to kick his butt once! I will see with the CDI if it made a difference and how much.

Jeez....while i have your attention have you tried any other shocks? It seems to me that the rear of the AC is a bit stiff for my liking. It just seems it is oversprung.I have the springs adjusted as low as i can get and the front ones are in about the middle of the range.I like the front end ride but the back seems real stiff. It is new and i hope it loosens up a bit as it gets broke in but i just thought i would ask what you think of the rear suspension.

i run mine with 4psi but my friend has 3psi in his and they dont look any differant.
i find with 4 psi it rides very good and going over downed trees the tires wrap around the trees for better grip.

you shouldn't have to rejet i dunno what the sea level is here but i see you are in ND so it can't be that big of a difference and well like wook and mud explain what their riding purposes are for and that is basically what you gotta go with if you need big time traction go with a lil less but if you do alot of agressive riding and going around turns and even just trail riding go with a lil more so the stiffer sidewalls keep you from the body roll and well my suspension seems to be fine after it broke in it loosened up a lil well i am only 160 pounds and i left it factory but ride very agressive and if you ride slow i could see where it would become a stiffer issue but if you hit the bumps with any lil speed whatsoever you will love the rear suspension yes i do agree it could be a lil softer but for my purposes i need it

Hi. I run about 4-5 PSI. in mine. The one thing to be careful of is not to run them too low. The sidewalls are rigid enough that it can be hard to tell that you are running them too low until you drive over an obstacle
