Default Water clearance with DG air intake tube

Just wondering if you lose any water crossing clearance with this intake tube?

I ride alot of deep water and I was thinking of doing the tube, an airfilter, and the exhaust mod (jets most likely afterwards)

Like my first question states I was wondering if there are any negative effects to the tube and also I was wondering if I will still see a noticeable spike in performance if I do no other airbox mods than those listed above (I don't want to cut up the stock airbox and remove the baffle inside)

Lastly when I do the exhaust mod do you folks just repaint with some high temp black paint after you are done welding or do you just leave the weld esposed. Ideally I'd like to have them jet coated but I doubt if I can find anyone to do anything remotely like that here in Saskatchewan.

Thanks in advance!

The DG Snorkle will not affect your water crossing ability. It sits at the same height as the stock snorkle. It is just much less restrictive than the stock snorkle. If you put in the dg snorkle, twin air filter, and the muffler mod, you will notice the difference. It is not huge, but definetely noticeable. Also, you will most likely need to rejet after those 3 changes. I had to rejet to 142/145 after making the mods. As for the weld on the muffler, I just painted w/ hi temp exhaust paint. Good luck!
