changing raptor oil short cut??

Default changing raptor oil short cut??

ya know how u add oil, u fill the res, then start it up for a few seconds, then put more oil in until uve reached the right amount? well could u do the same thing for drainin it? empty the oil in the transmission then start it up for a few seconds, then empty the transmission plu again? becasue its such a mess emptieng the res oil. does this sound like it could work ok?

Personally i think shortcuts on somehting liek the oil that keeps your bike moving. i would jsut do it the way its suggested.

i need a special funnel, evertime i change the oil, i always make such a mess.

iN MY situation.. its more of a bitch to get it out of the tranny.. i have skid plates.

its basically the same as taking off the plastic glide plate that is on there stock, right? but there is nothing worse than cleaning up a huge mess of oil

Take the skid plates off. I do everytime i change my oil anyway.

Default changing raptor oil short cut??

Dude, here is a tip that I use and I make no mess. You know that cardboard tube that your papertowels come on? Hang on to the next one you have. Take your knife and cut out a square on one end of the tube. Put your pan under your Raptor and start draining you crankcase oil. Then loosen the drain bolt on the bottom of the oil tank...have your cardboard tube handy and put the end with the square cut out under the bolt as you take it out. Point the other end over your drip pan to divert the oil. Works great, I never get any oil on my frame. When your done toss the tube. No mess, no worries.
