Well my belt is gone on my scrambler 500 and I am looking for a replacedment and was wondering if the hpd belt is any good? Thanks for any replies...

You can get the same one from Gates at Napa for half the price #19AT4090. I use the Dayco Max2 belt Part # MAX1121M2 and have been very happy with it.

 

you can also use a belt froma 600 or 700 sportsman the last two numbers are 91

 

EBS macines have a differant belt from the non-EBS machines.

 

it is good,but the sheaves wear harder than a standard belt,
they have only 3 belt offered from polaris,the only thing different
from a 700 belt to a 400 is the lentgh.
i use a 700 belt on my scrammy with sand blasted clutchs,no slipping.
if you run the standard 10.5 center to center distance,the stock
one are the best for.

 

take your belt to NAPA autoparts and they can match it , cost less than $33.00. yes, it is a heavy duty kevlar belt.

 

The hpd belts aren't worth the money, I shredded one of them once, and the only good thing is that the belt stayed together enough to tear through my cover, and into my leg(or is that a bad thing)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
