the fuel valve was clogged with all kinds of good stuff. then i cleaned out the fuel bowl which was horribly clogged and i cleaned out the main fuel line my question is how to get the reserve unclogged. i scraped as much out as possible with a wire and kept flushin it out but its still clogged. right now its sittin in gas its been in there for about a half hour im gonna go take it out now see howit is. any responses will help ill write back and tell what the outcome is

 

Try a can of carburetor cleaner, but be carefull not to get any in your eyes - that stuff is nasty!

 

Yamaha markets an outstanding carburetor cleaner; a mix of one part cleaner to three parts gasoline is recommended--you may want to use a stronger concentration on a valve clogged that badly--if you can't disassemble it and clean it mechanically, maybe some of this joy juice will do the job; heed 20blaster00's advice about eye protection.
