Hey guys my friend just bought Maier front Race cut fenders for his 440ex. He hasn't installed them yet, but do you have to drill a hole for the key slot? He bought the racecuts so theres no place for headlight. And he really doesn't want to drill a hole in his new plastic. But does he? Anyway he can wire it in with his Gunnar Killswitch?

 

cant he just buy some aftermarket lights and mount them on the frame like lazer start or w/e there called

 

tell him to ducktape the head lights to the front bumper

No! You guys dont get it. He doesn't need his lights, but the lights have the key thing in them. How should he mount the key switch is wat im saying.

 

Just mount the key switch on the frame somewhere

 

Maier Race Plastics, most places you go to race dont allow lights on a quad. For the key switch uhhh.....buy a teather switch and hook that upto the ignition and use that as a key if not just disconnect the wires when not riding it, its the white clip on the front not the green one. and if he wants lights any auto part store will have lights autozone has a few jcwhitney.com has a couple of them just rig it to the normal light switch then to the battery.
