well I bought a 01 trx 90 and the kids love it so far. Im gona do some mods to it say a pipe (what does you guys recomend? FMF) . a thinner head gasket for more compresion> ( is this fairly ez to do ? any one have a artical on this?) as for cutting the pink wire is this the pink wire that is coming out of the white conector plug ? just snip it ? do you wrap it w/ black tape?

any other recomendations?

as for suspention I was gona try that widening kit on ebay and the suspention lifthere what do you think? the 300 ex suspention sounds good to. my boy likes to jump and the suspention will take a beating so I want it beafer and a little more inches sounds good to!!

We did ours with a larger diameter pipe with a 'cone' muffler, a carb from a atc 110, rejetted to a 90 or 95 and a mild cam with a uni filter and a 3 liter soda bottle over the filter to keep mud and wet out. Just tested it this past weekend at the 'mud' race and it was excellent. Wheel spacers, 18" rear tires, original sprockets, works shocks. If your gonna race I think the upper shock mount kit you speak of may put you in a 'modified' 90 class. No articles, did it the hard way!
