Do you think this is a fair trade?? What are the pros and cons on the blaster?? Is it jump worthy?? What mods can be done to make it jump and race worthy?? Please let me know.

The Blaster is a great starter quad...... You can jump a Blaster, don't no about how soft the landing will be.... Your not going to get any big air on the stock suspension.... All depends on your size..... You can mod a Blaster just like any other quad..... It just takes $$$$$....... As for it being a fair trade, well thats up to you..

not to be an azz, but why would you want to start over again with the training wheels?
going from a bike to a quad is like going backwards in cerebral development, don't get me wrong, i have both a bike and a quad, but I would never change from the skill level of perfecting the speed of a bike versus the limitations of sitting in a wheelchair.

In 1997--99 we had both the Honda XR200 and the blaster and both were kept in stock condition. More often than not if your going to play around in the woods the blaster had the much higher fun factor.
The XR 200 sometimes is hard to start when hot, the power level is sub par and the stock rear shock, no matter how its adjusted and unless your about 110 pounds in weight is almost worthless. If I was to have kept the machine long term and how we rode the woods it would have needed a new more adjustable shock. The machine had no problems though.
The blaster was quick for being stock, suspension was fine and starting it was just a few swift kicks away. Also, if you watched the oil level, gas, a few new plugs and and air filter cleaning you should have no problem with the blaster for years.
I don't blame you for wanting a blaster.

the reason why im going to a quad is cause I cant get the feel for the bike. Im to small for it and it over powers me in height definatly not power. The bike has only like 12 hours on it and has been well maintained. Im looking for a quad to trade for so if anyone has anything that they wanna offer up please do. So you dont think it would be a fair trade???

a brand new xr200 is probly worth close to double a 95 blaster, if i were u i definetly wouldnt trade. you would be much better off selling your xr or even trading it in to a dealership and buying whatever quad you want.
