Rappy? I don't know why, but it just sounds silly to me. Raptor sounds kind of mean like, but Rappy just sounds like its a 6 year old saying it. Soft. No offense intended here, I just wondered if anyone else thought this.

Rappy

Only someone like Andy Bassham would bring this front and center when this should have been kept in the closet, hidden.

Hey, one way or the other, I did get some good responses on this. Like I said, no offense to anyone here. I love yamaha, I think the Raptor is absolutely awesome. The nickname Rappy just doesn't sit right with me for some reason. Like you know there are some words you just can't stand to hear cause they sound so jacked up? I guess this is one of them for me. Makes a big powerful quad sound like something from the muppets.

Oh, and the dude that said only "I" could bring something could bring something like this out of the closet... nice one! I got edited when I wanted to say it sounded G (insert vowell here) Y. Dude, you have 9000 posts since 01. You are definitely busy on here. I've just got over 3 grand, and I've been here since they re-did this thing. Looks good.

I always call my quad Rappy on these forums. I could care less if it sounded g a y. Way too many people under estimate the Raptor to begin so why not give them one more thing to laugh about.

My raptor is not homosexual because its mounts my female trailer quite a bit.
