i was out last weeend with my brother i got a 04 500 he was a 04.5 600 with a pure polaris can on it. If we both take off at the sametime i can get a least a bike length head of him until i top out at 57mph then he can get by me.Is this normal?dont get me wrong im not complaining, but i think he is a little sore.

I also changed my spark plug on the weekendand it was black, should i lean it out a little?

that k&n sucks a lot more air in the engine that why u get him until u top out - on most 4 strokes a pipe will just give more torque

Hey Bubs if the plug is black its too rich also check the tail pipe its most likely black and sooty. With the K&N it should run a little leaner but try lifting the clip on the jet needle a notch or two and check the plug and tail pipe. I did this to mine and the tail pipe now is a greyish black and the plug a light tan.....
