Default i'm thinking about the HPD Trail pipe

i have a question about it tho..im not willing to spend 179$$ on a full clutch kit, so will i be able to just buy new primary and secondary clutch springs and get close to the same effect out of the pipe? I dont want much higher engagment than stock, and i still want to be able to do slow technical riding, but also good high performance riding. is that possible?

Also, will my stock piston be able to handle all of the mods i have, plus the pipe? Thanks

The stock piston will handle it just fine. All you need is the standard aggressive clutch kit with the pipe. It has the springs, weights and shims. The only difference with the more expensive one is the helix. The trail pipe is a great pipe.

i have the AAEN torquer pipe...basically same thing as HPD trail pipe and i havent had mine clutched yet but i still can tell a different with how mine runs....it pulls harder in the mid and it revs a noticeable amount quicker..

I have the trail pipe and the $99 dollar clutch kit (primary, secondary springs and weights). It works great together.

if you get a trail pipe you could get a red/yellow primary and violet secondary and use the stock weights and helix and get good results.

rick sells the trail pipe ($190) and a clutch kit ($90) without the helix. or you could just change the primary spring one heavier.
