TRX300EX vs. Yamaha Raptor 350
#2
well i have a 300 ex and my buddy got a 350 rappy i do love my honda and i am used to it so i like it better. In trailes i think the 300 is a little more nimble and more torqey but the rappy is faster in a straigh drag. me and my buddy raced yesterday about 150 yards and he beat me three times, and yes i am a better rider than him. my bike has full exhaust, jetted and filter. He is bone stock so u make up your mind.
guess it is what u like every brand does ride a little different than the others of same size so it is all to what you are looking for in a quad, but i think u cant go wrong with a honda.
P.S. the rappy u can get in to reverce a little easer than the ex if that helps.

I made the same decision a lil over two weeks ago and i decided to get the 300ex. I LOVE IT. its quick, nimble, agile, and wheelies like nothin. I've ridin tons of quads and this is one of the funnest quads i ever experienced. it isnt the best of course but it is a fun trail quad and great for just messing around on. in a straight line the 350 will take it every time but speed doesnt mean a whole lot to me. as long as it gets me where i want to go im happy. i love yamaha and this is the frist NON-yamaha quad i have ever owned and i have no regrets what so ever. reverse on the 300ex is no big deal once u learn how to do it. i can get into reverse just as quickly as my friends on there warriors. If i were u i would go with the honda but the rappy 350 is also a great quad. the choice is yours, try to ride them and get a feel for them both and base your decision on that. w/e u get ride hard and just have fun.

I know the magazines can be biased, but they gave it to the 300ex of the 350 rappy. Personally, I like the 300ex over the Warrior, but have never ridden the updated model.
