wildrides, consider yourself lucky that you got that much out of that belt. I have tried 2 of them so far and got less than 100 miles out of the pair of them. In fact my brother was riding my quad with the first belt and he got about 70 miles out of it (he rides like a pu$$y) on one weekend. They are probably ok if you are just going to putt around, but as soon as you ride aggressively they just don't handle it and just grenade. Also i couldn't get the Dayco to tighten up, even after removing all the shims, so that is definitely a factor, but no problems bringing the Kawi belt to spec. Just my 2 cents.

I have a 2004 P700 with 1200 miles, 74 hours still on factory belt has never been adjusted yet. I did install different primary and secondary springs. I also installed a Dayco belt in a friends P650. We have had no problems with it at all.
