Default 2000 sportsman 500 speedo moisture

Hi,

I've recently purchased a used sportsman and I have found that there is a constant moisture problem (foggy) inside the speedo when I use it. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and how to fix it. I assume that it is a sealed unit but haven't looked into it yet. Any suggestions???

Thanks,
500mike

The dreaded "fog pod". The 2004's still fog, no cure that I know of..........

This has been an ongoing prob for a few years now. My 03 does also. I can leave mine in the sun for a long while and usually will clear.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I'm gonna have to live with it. Wonder if it could be opened though?? If so, maybe Fog-X (anti-fog for windshields) on the inside of the glass may work. Thanks anyway.

Mike
