bigred questions.. help.

ON the bigred i just got some new valves put in and when i was taking that part of the head of the bolt that holds the exaust on snapped my friend told me it should just unscrew and come out but i just cant get it out i tried taking the torch to it for like an hour and then some vice grips but it wouldn't budge any tips??

Kroil, works wonders.
Also , some candle wax, when touched to the hot stud, will melt, and go into the threads, and when it cools, it should be easier, to unscrew.
If you have access to a welder, weld a nut to the top of what is left of the stud, and unscrew.
If it just wont come out, then itll need to be drilled out.

If you have the head off, I suggest taking it to a shop and letting someone remove the bolt. If the threads get damaged beyond repair they can install a heli-coil.
Be careful when heating the bolt with a torch. You don't want to get the head too hot.

Post 1985 should come out, not sure about pre. I would let it soak in WD-40 or some other penetrant over night and get some vice grips as tight as possible and twist away. If you get zero movement then take it to a machine shop at about 4:00 on friday with a 6 pack and see if you can get some help.
