Don't know what other hidden costs there are.
But it was a pretty smokin deal considering they WILL ship the quad.
It just AMAZES me the range in prices the dealers are getting for these quads.
You would think it would be pretty standardized, but its just like cars.
The harder and the longer you shop, the better the deals become.

Remember there is something to be said for getting you quad locally from a dealer.
If something goes wrong, you need someone to help you with the warranty or troubleshooting problems.
Although my 2001 has been bulletproof, it did have a problem out of the box with the voltage regulator.
The people I bought it from diagnosed the problem and fixed it no questions. They felt bad about my first trip being ruined.
They gave me a super deal on a used snowmobile trailer the next week to make up for it and then drove with me an 45 minutes away to
make sure the fix they did fixed the quad. That's what I call customer service.

Unfortunately most dealers dont have service even close to that. The way I see it is you are probably going to get screwed unless you find a great dealer. Since they are very few and far between, you might as well pay less money to get screwed.

I think the local dealer is reasonably good on the service end of things, as he has done a fair amount of work on the Bomb Jetski.
But he is just not willing to get down and dirty on the price of the DS.
