wolverine or KFX 700?
#1
I've been ridin a 250 ex for way too long. I need more power and ability. the kfx was my first choice but the wolverine seems like it may be the better choice for me. I ride trails that are rocky and technical, like climbing hills, and run in a riverbed that is like beach sand for miles with whoops and drop offs. Speed is important, but its not the only requirement that I have. Slow trails with hills, mud, water, sand and some nice straights is what I have local here in florida, but I go to tellico several times a year to ride. What do you guys think? If I get the wolverine it will get the warn 424 kit for sure, how difficult is the kit to install?

well i dont do any real races i just like going really fast all the time thats why i would choose a sport quad over a 4by4........but if its mostly mud i bet the 700kfx is a pig to get out

I ride with a friend who has a carbon fiber 700 and it is sweet looking. It also has gobs of power, but there is one problem he has trouble with the hard terrain. A few months ago he flipped it on a hill tearing up that pretty plastic and I had to pull him up with my Wolverine. You DO NOT want to flip that heavy machine over on you, he will vouch for that. If I was going to get a 2wd I would get one that is light and nimble so I can command it with my body english not it commanding me! They are very powerful and would be great in some terrain, but when it gets rough I would not want one. I ride in Jellico TN and if Tellico is anything like it I would go with a 4wd or a light sport bike. Good luck deciding!
