Default Jetting my raptor with a few mods Help!!

I just bought an 05 raptor and put a K&N pro flo kit on it and removed the air lid. I also put on a HMF slip on exhaust. I was wondering if anyone has done the same, because the yamaha shop near me has never put a HMF exhaust on a raptor and they are having trouble finding the right cmbination for it to run right. I ride at 2200ft. Can someone tell me what to do as far as what jets, needle setting and turns out on the air fuel mixture to get me close enogh to dial it in myself. NEW MEMBER Thankx rotty150

Okay I'm at 2,000 to 2,500 feet depending on where I ride. I have a 04 raptor with a Big gun Race series slip -on and did the Pro ATV power pack kit with the Dyno jet combo and dyno jet recommended a 144 jet in the left and a 146 in the right for a slip-on. If your doing a full exhaust at that altitude with a high flow baffle then you should be at a 146 jet in the left and a 148 in the right if your staying below 3,000 feet. Carefully turn mixture screws clockwise until seated, then back out 3 turns. That's coming from Dyno-jet themselves. Good Luck!

With no lid and a slip on exhaust, use 150-155 left carb and 155-160 right carb. Needle should be able to be left in stock position if not run it on 4th clip. Pilots turn in until seated then out 2 1/2-3 turns each. Mikuni jets

Hey, thankx alot for your input, I finally got my raptor running today!! I dont know what is so different with mine but that thing was wanting fuel bad? We finally came to a happy medium with it and got her dialed in. We ended up getting liener needles, putting them on the 3rd clip, 175/180 mikuni jets, the left air fuel is turned out 3 1/4 and the right is turned out 4 times and it runs like a scalded dog!!!! It's a tad on the rich side when the second carb opens but not enough to worry about.

05 RAPTOR
HMF exhaust
K&N pro flo W/no lid
Fuel: Half super/Half Avgas
Weiser ID Sand Dunes "Stek Park" 2200 to 2300ft

If anyone ever gets out my way and wants to ride give me a call (208)452-5717 ask for brian or leave mess.
