How did you do and what class are you running. I heard Ballance climbed the big hill.

I was there and it was wild. I was at the hill the whole time and all the pros were climbing it along with many other brave souls. Several quads came bouncing back down, including a big yamaha 4x4.

Hey B.Pace you looked pretty good on the hill, but how did you finish I missed it. How did Clump finish?

Hey Chris, hate to tell you but youwere at the middle size hill known as MAMA hill. PAPA hill is just to the right of it awhen standing at the bottom. Bill Ballance went up papa hill twice, tried a third time and got stuck. Stevie Holbert also went up it once. As far as I know that's it. Mama hill wasn't that bad to get up as long as no one stopped in front of you. I day ended with a blown radiator hose on the fouth lap. My team finished as follows:

Pro - fifth for Brad Page
250A - sixth for Rickie Davis
4stk mod - first for Robin Page
Open A - first for Jason Lewis

Well all I know is that I was standing at the bottom of some huge hill with about 200 people standing around it, and it had about four or five diferent ways to go up. There was also a path with a bunch of whoops that went around it. I just assumed that it was papa hill because of all the people and because alot of riders were going around. I saw you climb this hill once or twice, along with many other riders

Yea, that was mama hill. The trail went over to what is known as baby hill. Papa hill was about twice as long as mama and slightly steeper. I went up Papa two years ago but it had washed out pretty good since then. They took all of the hills out last year but put them back in this year. The story going through the pits is this was the last year for the hardrock event.

The last year? Hmm...kinda disappointed to see that although my quad would probably love it.

That is the rumor going around. I don't have any hard facts but rumors say that Hardrock and Florida are history for next year. Time will tell.

Good. They need to move a couple more races down here to the TN/KY area - where the real action is.
