i have been seeing all these turbo's, how much are they, where do you get them, are they hard to install yourself, and lastly do you have to do any other motor mods to make one work.

 

You I believe have to run it with an EFI system, and an intercooler. Cost should be about 4 G's for all mentioned above. The guy who offers em starts with a K......I am drawin blanks right now..lol, someone will chime in

 

www.kmsperformance.com is where I purchased mine. I had a couple of the forum members help do alot of the work and then kelly at KMS finished it up. The kit comes with an installation booklet which looks to be very straight forward.

 

Only other mod you'll need will be heavy duty clutch springs.

You may want to look at an extended swingarm but, I'm sure you don't NEED one.

 

You may want to look @ getting a new forged low comp. piston with the turbo.

 

You don’t need to modify your engine. My engine is all stock. it takes the better part of a day to get it all set up and the cost is about 4k. The kit comes with everything you need down to the wire ties. KMS performance sells the kit

thanks for the advice guys.... but 4k? thats too much for me right now . i just sank 3k into mine in the past year so the old lady wont understand another 4k for a turbo. maybe next year... thanks though

 

there is always nitrous, and it is 600-1000 almost as fast if not as fast. did i mention it a lot of fun[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
