My EX gets REALLY hot REALLY Quick. I run 20w50atv oil along with octane booster and it still gets VERY hot. Is there anyway to make it cool better? It was cold today and the thing was really hot, I doubt it'd survive an MX race next summer. Is there anything to do to make these things run cooler? I've done all I know with the oil and octane booster. Anything at all??

check your crankcase oil screen

maybe invest in an oversized oil cooler or bigger oil tank...

 

yeh i would look at the prefilter. how do u like ur ex dose it compair to the r?

What about those air scoops to direct more air at your engine. I think OMF makes them.

Thats where I'd start, also. Maybe a bigger oil tank.
