Ok after all my looking at tires and comparing weight reveiws etc. I have narrowed my search down to these two rear tires for the rear of my scrambler. I would be on the stock front tires for atleast another month then those would follow. I will get these mounted on douglas rims.

Now that I have compared I would like the opinion of the board. These tires seem very very similiar from what I can gather, so whihc one would you want?

I looked at the klaws but the seemed to be heavier(is this a word?) then the two I listed I'll look at them again. Kenda's site doesn't list there weight so I'm having to use online tire carriers and see how much they say it weighs for shipping purposes.

 

i cant see them weighing more than the shredders..i read a review a year back on the holeshots vs. razrs vs. klaws and they said for for all around use teh klaws win by a landslide and for hard packed teh holeshots and loose gravel type the razrs

 

do you remeber who published it? I'll look online for a copy. I'd like to read it, I read an article on the shredders and they gave them great reveiws for everything.

dirtwheels? etc. that article sounds like what I need.

 

im pretty sure it was atvsport, but those tires were also the mx versions. so take that into account when u look at them

 

i'd go with the shredder..i have no complaints about them..GREAT all around tires

 

thanks guys, I don't like the look of the klaw. just me and my opinion. plus its heavier.

I couldn;t find the article but appreciate the effort. I can't read quad magazines I'm aftraid it will make me want a new 4 wheeler. alot of times the writers make the quads sound so nice and fast and what not makes me think I need a new one. I wish I had self control but don't lol.
