Considering Kawi, need help

So I'm looking for a new machine, and I was really impressed with the Prarie line-up. But now I see this Brute Force and it's got me thinking.
I own a Vinson 500 right now, well its' dad's but it is basically mine. Before that, we had a Polaris, which I loved.
Our neighbor just bought an 05' Sportsman which really kicks butt.
So here is my thing, I want to look at the Sportsman lineup, the Suzuki Twin Peaks and the Kawasaki Praire 700 or Brute Force 650.
I really dont like independent suspension, but the sportsman is really nice.
Basically, price has a big factor, if I can get a better deal on one than than the other, then that will make my mind up quick.
I dont believe anyone makes a bad bike anymore, so I'm not worried about reliablity issues.
So, what kind of prices and I looking at from dealers on the kawi bikes?
I looked on Cycle trader, and the kawi website, but of course, they list msrp, and I am not gonna pay msrp for a bike.
If' i'm not mistaken, the 650 brute force is just like the old prarie 650 but with BF plastic right?
Just let me know what you guys think of these bikes.
I really want to have the baddest bike of the group, and I think either one would do fine.

hay, I think it would be a great choice for you to choose a Kawasaki. Im on my second one and they are Bullit proof.
As for the bf 650, you are correct that it is a old 650 with bf plastic. The good thing about it is you can get it at a price around the same if not cheaper as the vinson and that bf would beat it in all the catagories. As for all the other things in the kawi line up, They are more expensive but have more juice to the ground. For the money, the 650 is hard to beat.

Actually, it would be tough to beat the price we got on the Vinson, 5200 otd for an automatic.
It's a great four wheeler, dont get me wrong, probably the best 500cc class out there, but that new 500 sportsman has it beat now.
Thanks for the feedback though.
what are the 650's going for now?
I havent got a change to get into the dealer, the closest kawi dealer is 40 miles from here.
Edit.
By the way, where is hendman ohio??
I'm about 50 miles south of Columbus

If price is the biggest factor, you could just get the best condition used bike you can find.
It's a good time to buy, no sales tax involved, and the bugs are worked out of the quad already (warranty not as necessary and hard to collect on anyway). I bought good used and no problems yet in a year and a half, just maintenance.
A good P700 would be my choice because of the power and stability on the trails. There are some bikes out there that are in real good condition. For some reason, some people buy new quads and then don't ride them much, kind of like exercise equipment.
