Thinkin about sellin my bike for a 400ex, i don't really want to, but this is the fourth top end since i've had the bike, dont get me wrong, i love my 400 2 stroke, but im tired of reliability issues, i heard honda's are pretty good, if anyone owns a 400ex, hows she been to ya, pro's and con's of my decision, THX!!!

 

I got rid of my 99 Sport for a 400EX. One of the best decisions I ever made. The 400 won't wear you out riding it all day like the tank (Sport) does. The 400EX is bulletproof.

 

i have a 400ex and absolutely love it. after modding it i can keep up with my friends stock yfz up until mid 5th gear.. my bikes loves wheelies and handles great. its very reliable and fun as heck... i also have a friend who has a modded scrambler 500ho and i whoop him everytime. hope this helps

 

if you wan't to go fast, jump and welie you definitaly won't be disapointed with the 400ex, i love mine[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] but if you just wan't to put around id keep yours[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

400ex's are great bikes, you cant hardly beat one for the price

 

YOu can't hurt them I can tell you that. They are just real real durable. Plus they do everything really well.

 

I love my 400ex. there great, fast fun and easy to ride but the down fall to the 400ex is that its oiled cooled. If i was you i would look into a bike that is liquid cooled such as ltz400, or the kawasaki 400. There about just as much as the 400ex if your buying them used
