if when you put it up after a day of riding in your garage in stead of parking it on all 4s stand it up on its back wheels 4 about a week

 

the gas drains out and the oil all drains to the back of the motor

 

Yeah probably not a great thing, might be ok, might not.........the oil would be my main concern........

 

Yeah i would agree with everyone else not to cool of an idea. If anything drain out the oil and gas and everything else but i'm not sure if that will work either. Better to keep her on all four wheels that how she is use to it.

 

jsut wonderig because i see this new guy has his DS650 and another quad upright in his garage

 

I doubt it hurts it but before riding it i'd sit it on all fours for 15min. and turn the gas off probably seal the gas cap some how

 

haha for a week had a hard time starting my x after it was stood up for like 20 seconds

 

if your going to store your quad on end for a whileyou need
to drain the gas and oil out of it or it makes it hard to start later
and when your ready to use it you fill it back up with oil

 

lol u to? i stand mine up to clean the underside for about 1 min then it wont start lol it takes about 10 mins to sit then 60 kicks on choke and i can pull it into my garage then it kills and the next day runs fine lol i guses its the float

 

Yeah, I was changing the oit, cleaning the bottom of mine and putting the skit plate back on and I had it on its back for a few hours. I had a pretty hard time starting mine and the clutch had to get warmed up. I wouldn't recomend doing it.
