I could be off, I know my 700EFI can be changed by the Override button. But my old 700 didn't have that feature from what I remeber. Then again it may have and I just don't remeber. I'm no help...sorry

Put your quad in neutral first. Turn your key off and wait 10 seconds. Press your over ride button and hold it in. Turn on your key and you will go into diagnostic mode. Use your over ride button to toggle through until you see "MP". Press and hold in the over ride button until the letters flash. Then press it again. Thats how its done on a 500, but it should be the same. Just turn your key off and on to exit diagnostic mode.

Thats how the 04 style speedo is, but I don't think my old 700 was like that for some reason. It could be, but to add to what Krank said, you also need to wait until it stops flashing before you turn off the key or it wont save the changes if that is how you do it on the old style too....
