Anyone know of any good mods for a 600 sportsman to make it faster than stock? What about increasing the headlight intensity. Do they make a halogen highbeam headlight (I am assuming my stock one isn't halogen)?
Thanks

Upgrade the primary spring on your clutch. It will launch a heck of a lot harder. It makes mine more fun on take off now.

Clutch kit would be the biggest improvement, Pure Polaris also has a silencer (see my pictures) for minimal gains and Hot seat and Aaen have speed kits that include a k&n filter, silencer, head pipe and clutch kit.
Thats it or get a 700 or 800 EFI.

welcome to the forums, I would do the three headlight conversion before you spend the money on a higher intensity headlight. it is only about $4.00 to make and install yourself. check out my pics for pics of the headlight mod. you can also do a search for headlight mod in the utility forums and find an instruction post with parts that I posted. I agree a silencer would probably help, it is on my list of mods after I get my 27" bigfoot kit on.

There really aren't any engine mods to speak of. If you want pulling power for work and mudding go with a heel clicker clutch kit. if you want highter top end try the Aean clutch kit.
Your 600 should be faster out of the hole than a 700 anyway. It's a good machine, enjoy!

Thanks for all of the advice. I can't wait to try them and see what happens. I love my bike now but hate to see 500's shadowing me on top end.
