I've got a sportsman that will spit out quite a bit of gas when holding the engine at 1/4 throttle. The dealer says there should only be 1-2 drops at the most, I definately have more than that is this normal. Could the float level being off cause this?

 

i think there is little rubber bumpers that hold the float from going all the way up, check and see if those are still there.. its this way on my suzuki anyways u better wait and see what other guys have to say but ill get this post back up for ya

 

I would say your float level is probably too high.
