The shock has the compression adjustment on the rezzie and the rebound screw on the bottom of the shock, do you need a major adjustment to feel the difference?

This is a new old stock shock that I bought on EBAY for $80 and it is going on a Kawasaki Mojave as a well needed upgrade.

Never had a rear shock that adjusted this way and need some input.

I weigh 210lbs also, should I tighten the spring nuts a little as well for by weight?
