I've only read tests in current magazine articles and the 800 is a brute. My 700 EFI is a stump puller and they rate the 800 as having 25% more power. If money is no factor I would go with the 800. If you want to read about it, pick up the latest ATV magazines. Most manufacturers larger size 4x4s will do what you need, the King Quad from Suzuki, Brute Force and Prairie from Kawasaki, Rincon from Honda, Grizzly 660 from Yamaha, etc. etc.

The 650 and 700 efi are probably compairable in power, i would think the efi is faster. The ac is not a fast trail quad more of a mudder and rock crawler with its fully IRS. Without the rear stabilizer bar its not stable at high speed. the sportsmans are a better all around quad.

the 800 may be quite a bit of money but still equal in price to the honda rincon 650. I own polaris and love them, you need to go to your dealer and test ride the models you have in mind and see what fits your budget, style, performance needs. you can't go wrong with a 700EFI though in my opinion.

ARCTIC CAT 650 v 2 have more travel & a bigger fuel tank.but a sportsman 700 or 800 efi look like there built better.
cat has a 2 year warranty while polaris has onlt 6 months.i have a 1999 sportsman 500 which i have never had any problems . only squeaky brakes and a flat rear tire.is it worth spending the extra money on the 800 vs the 700.
thanks again,
