I want to hear it doing a pass by, not sitting there running up and down from idle... Still, I gotta compliment you on posting whatever you could.... thanks

Sounds pretty loud for a stock ATV. Almost sounds like a 400ex or maybe a warrior with an aftermarket pipe? If it is a Raptor...it does sound pretty good!

It is the raptor. I think it was recorded in a garage or something and it has a echo.

Nope, it isn't the raptor. Remember Gabe? I posted the link listed and after examining it, it is the sound file from the yamaha bike that has the 660 engine that he dug up many months ago. Whoever decided to pass it off for the raptor didn't even bother to change the file name from the one that Gabe had. Also, on the site that contains the sound file is a picture of a Raptor. Gabe said he edited a white van out of that picture too.... Oh well, can't blame coryatver, I posted it on the newsgroups before I realized what it was.

Yep, those are the files I had on my website from about April. Although I deleted them after Yamaha offically announced the Raptor, I still have them on my HDD. The pics were from Dirtwheels and had a white van in the background, I did a little Photoshopping to make them "original", also made them easy to recognize.

The sound file is not from the Raptor, but is from the bike where the Raptor engine originated. It's a pretty cheezy sound file, sounds like it was done in a garage & has a lot of clipping, but it was cool to find at the time when there was so little info on the Raptor to be found...
