My bro picked up his Limited Edition YFZ 450 this morning, I was wondering the likes and dislikes, we didn't have time to ride it so the likes till now is that I coulden't lift it and the looks, dislikes are that my Bomby Rally sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay much deeper which I think is more pleasing to the ears and has more melody [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

Dislikes - thumb throttle and seat.
Likes - power,suspension(ok for dunes),sits wide

 

I have had my 2005 YFZ450 Limited for 2 weeks and have had not one dislike about it. I have an 1988 LT500 and the YFZ is better in every respect. I was worried that it wouldn't compare with the LT but after the first ride I can't keep off the YFZ. You will be very happy with it and after riding it you will not go back to anything else. lol

I don't mind the thumb throttle, as soon as i got it i got a extender...really helps out when your pegging the throttle for a long period of time

 

Love how much fun it is to ride & race.

Hate how so many things break on it.

Did they change the thumb throttle for the 05. I have always used a twist but after riding my bike for a whole day my thumb never hurt at all so I have decieded to leave the thumb on. have heard that everyone is complaining about the thumb throttle, felt like the one on the wifes z400 felt tighter.

 

nope, they didnt change the spring on the 05, the seat,shocks,decomp plug, battery issue and couple little things.

 

keep in mind people his is heavily modified....

 

does the gas prices bother any of you
