I have been playing on the net for several days at work here **whistles innocently** trying to find out which tires I will put on my Grizzly 660 '05 Hardwoods

I think I will go with the ITP 589 m/s at 27" size with the "C" series ITP alum wheels with clearcoat. (nice for spraying with pledge so mud falls off EZ)

Well for the prices I check a ton of places

TRAX Motorsports was 733.00 shipped

Tires&stuff was 782.00 shipped

Other places like Dennis Kirk and Rockymountianatv were more yet

so I tried Ebay and found some from precision powersports for 624.00 shipped INCLUDING lug nuts and center caps


Does anyone know anyplace that might be cheaper???


edit: I was going to just get the black steel wheels which would have been 559.00 shipped with nuts and caps but they told me they were 5lbs more per tire! for a few bucks I can shave 20 lbs off my unsprung weight nice!

I got prices from the places above which beat a price from discount tire. I had to call these places to get lowest prices. first off the prices I got were for tires/wheels mounted and balanced with lugs and caps.
ITP Mudlites (2) 27-10-12 fronts, (2) 27-12-12 rears, (4) ITP Type 6 series polished wheels

I have to say that in my opinion www.atvoutfitters.net was the best place to call and talk to, they even talked to me and told me which sizes and tires were better/worse plus they gave me the lowest price so this is where I am going to order my wheels/tires from.

 

id check the weight of the 589's...i used to not think twice about tire/rims weight, until i swapped some 56 lbs tires with my stock 28 lb tires and was amazed at how sluggish it got!

the 589's are a THICK tire...i dont know what the ms version weighs but my cousin had the regular (original) 589's on his kodiak and it lost a lot of torque trying to push those puppies.

 

they are heavy and i regret it somewat, and it other ways not at all because i have the power to go anyware.
