I want to change me rear tire. Now, i ride with Titan Turf Tammer 20X11-9. It's a great tire for MX but for trails or anything it's not very great !

What i do :
50% MX
50% ride in the woods (trails)

I want good traction everywere.

What do you recommand ?
Maxxis Razz'r 2 or ITP Holeshot HD ???

20X11-9 or 22X11-9 ???

Two set of wheels and tires. if not the 22's

 

I do the same kind of riding. I use the ITP Holeshot XCT's 22's in rear and Holeshot HD's 23's in front. I have tried alot of tires and this combo seems to work the best all around for the 2 styles of riding. You will need to drop to a 15 tooth front sprocket with the 22's.

 

I have the razr 2's they are tuff as nails but kind of heavy. Both tires I imagine are very good for what you are looking for. Holeshots are a proven tire many people love them. But I would'nt trade my razr 2's for anything. To date I have not had one flat caused by the tire but I have taco'd the wheels a couple of times and they are red label douglas's, and still no tire damage.

 

IMO you don't want 22" tires on the MX track - keep the center low for fast corners, and 22's are best for the trails so yeah you need two sets, keep your turf tamers mounted for the MX and get some 22's in a package mounted for the woods.
both tires you mention are very good. I saw more razorII's at this year's GNCC finale Ironman race than anything else on the pro bikes, very aggressive and wide spacing for fast cleanout in the muddy areas.
